John Mizarolli is rated as UKs best blues guitarist in terms of black roots delivery of tone and phrasing. This acolade was given to John by none other than the late Big Joe Turner who helped establish the history of blues on the planet!

John started playing the electric guitar at 12 years of age playing Songs, Simple Shadows Lead by Hank Marvin and guitar chords of British Pop Idols. At home with band mates, he soon progressed to serious 12-bar blues and Led Zeppelin covers by about 15 years of age.

At 16 he supported Peter Greens band Fleetwood Mac at a club called Bumpers in Londons West End in his own Original Band called BUZ.

John was very heavily influenced by Peter Green when he got a front seat to see Fleetwood Mac at a John Peel BBC Radio Program when he was 12. He witnessed one of the most influential British Blues Bands of the 20th century from a distance of about 10 feet!

Experiencing the guitar talents of Jeremy Spencer, Danny Kirwin and Peter Green at 12 years old had a profound effect on Johns future taste for the blues.
